Anthony Pisaneschi is a director and editor based in Rome. Over sixteen years he has worked across commercial and documentary filmmaking. From national broadcast campaigns to intimate human portraits he looks for the unguarded moments to guide both his documentary and scripted work.

Because he also edits, he directs with the cut in mind, shaping rhythm and performance on set rather than leaving it for post.

He holds both US and Italian citizenship and relocated to Rome in 2026 after years in Chicago and London.

He is currently developing his debut feature, a horror film set at the dawn of surgery that explores the body's connection to the divine and the human capacity for transcendence.
